Right now I'm looking at a couple different speakers for my car. I'm trying to figure out if I want to go with Diamond D9 series speakers all around or JL audio subs, W6s or W7s and MB Quart QSD components, JL Slash amps all around. I want this car to have amazing sound quality (BMW 330I, BMW 330Ci, or BMW M3; havn't purchased the car yet). I'm looking for opinions right now and am unsure as I've heard GREAT things about both sets.
Thanks
Ah, forgot to mention...I listne primarly to all types of rock...metal, alternative, punk, etc.
I just recently listened to some high end component speakers, the Zapco's and Morel Elate 6's, here's my post;

I like the Quart mids, but just haven't found any installs with those metal dome tweeters that I like. I am sure there is a setup with them that shines, but I haven't found it.
Focal makes great speakers as well, although I have heard mixed reviews about their tweeters as well. I don't have any experience with the Diamonds.
I think you could do better as far as amps go. Like Arc, Zapco, and Genisis.

Yea seriously given the loot u'd spend on that list of stuff you could get some seriously cool gear.
Of course, if you're the kinda guy that's willing to be seen in a 3-series I guess JL or MB Quart is right up yer alley.
Hmm... try ... maybe... one of
these with amps from
these guys ....
Not soo... cookie cutter, eh?

Diamond D9s sound great, listened to them more then once at a local place near me. It's just too bad I have no room in a single cab truck for them.
