I have 2 quad voice coil KOVE Armageddon Subs perfectly capable of handling 4000 w RMS each and 4 Earthquake 5000 to run them . I am in a Ford Expedition and I need a 300 amp alternator ot provide constant power. Where can I get one of these and what brand should I consider. All sugestions welcomed.

At this point, this probably is going to be the biggest alt. you are going to find. However there are some companies that build custom alternators. They are going to be costly and you are going to pay a high price for shipping too. There also is the option of getting a non vehicle specific alternator, but custom brakets and mounting will ensue. It costs a lot to have a lot of power.

ohio generators is one, mean green is another. There are many discussions on this site about what you have asked, I suggest you do a search here using alternator as your key word.

You could always run a dual alternator setup....gets a little tricky in a honda CRX, but you have plenty of room in that explorer!   get on it
