I need to fit a whole lot of beat into a 2003 f350 crew cab. It needs to be cost effective so I figure that more lower priced woofer would suffice. Anyone have exp. with these trucks?

Thanks.

Why would you get 3 crappy woofers if you could get 1 or 2 really good ones.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

Did I say crappy? No. Would 3 move more air than one or two? Yes.   Does 3 look better than two? Yes. Did my customer ask me for 3? yes. Any ideas?

What kind of ideas are you looking for?  You're an installer and you know how to fiberglass...you also have some very definite opinions about what "looks better".  And of course you can "fit" as many subs in a truck cab as fraternity brothers in a phone booth.  So what are you asking?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I didn't mean it as crappy.  I meant that 2 really good woofers are a lot better in my opinion than 3 o k ones.  SPL might not be the same, but the SQ might be.  I personally like SQ, but your customer may not.  Sorry for the response earlier.

For that vehicle it will depend on how much the customer wants to spend on a fiberglass enclosure. 3 or 4 subs in that truck will easily fit, but at what cost to the customer. It won't be the cost of the subwoofer that will be the factor rather the cost of materials and labor hours going into this project.
