I just installed a KDC-MP228 Cd Receiver With the KCA-IP500 (iPod Interface) for my teen age daughter, after goinig to the kenwood web site to set the interface switches, and spending a lot of time with the owners manual. I'm trying to get the receiver to display the artest and song title from the ipod , is there a trick to it? is there something i'm missing? is it possible, anybody have some experance setting one up, any advise wood be appreciative.

Not sure, but I don't think the 228 has the display capablity.  The deck will control the ipod, but not display info.  Believe the Japonese Kenwood site has the infoyou require.
