What are you expecting them to do?

If you are looking to protect your door speakers from water, they work great especially if you cut off the back. Most car speakers are designed to use the door or trunk as an encloser aka infinite baffle. If you install the foam baffles you will drastically reduce your lower end responce from the speaker. Depending on the speaker and your crossover point you might try them with small midrange drivers or small door speakers to reduce excursion.

I was just wondering if they help that much in keeping them clean and if they help at all with the sound.
