Hey.
This could be in either the led or this forum. But I figured it best went here.
I have my amp remote jumped to my power for now. Since I wanted to add a toggle switch
However, I want a LED to light up when the amp is On, and one where it is off.
I know I need a single pole, double throw switch.

But I do not know how to draw up the schematic for it. I know how to be able to do it for the on led. But I cannot think of how to add the "off" led. With using just the remote wire from my deck. I have somewhat of an idea below.
Deck Remote wire
Led ON
SPDT Switch
Led OFF
Amp Remote wire
Any feedback is greatly appreciated
*Edit*
Have the Off LED powered by the 12v when flicked? and On by the Remote. I'm assuming the remote is 12v aswell.
i think i may be alittle confused as to what you are wanting to accomplish. are you trying to have the led lit when the amp is on or off?
Both ON and Off.
I'm just gonna drill 3 holes on one of the plates supplied on the dash to the left as most cars got em.
But I only want to accomplish this when the car is on and not have power applied to the leds for the whole time. I know the power cumsuption is low on led's. I have basic component knowlegde and mroe that basic soldering skills and I'm a technicain for the military, but the schematic is not comming to me as I draw it out.
BLUE LED "ON"
Toggle Switch
RED LED "OFF"
