i have a 2002 ford windstar which has the am/fm/cd stereo . about a week ago the battery went dead and we jumped the car to get it running . well upon turning the radio back on it didn't . no radio or cd or clock i've checked for a fuse on the block and it's not there . even the alarm doesn't set so i'm wondering if the alarm and audio system is on the same fuse . maybe the stereo got spiked on the jump and hit the alarm system at the same time . is there a fuse on the rear of the head unit and how do i fix the alarm .

Recheck your fuse block for a blown fuse. Your van probably has two fuse panels. One under the dash and one underhood. The fuses usually aren't lableled in Fords, so it may be a good idea to check them all with a 12 volt test light or volt meter.

normaly the block under the hood will have the constant power and the one under the dash will have the switched.

DID you jump it like shown in this diagram https://www.vcoa.org/700-900-faq/ElectricalStarting.html#Starter_and_Solenoid_Problems or did you do direct negative to negative on the batteries that cause problems maybe screws your radio and everything
