Hey guys i was just wondering about how do you get your MECP certificate and how much do the average installers make. Any other extra info would be appreciated about becoming an installer and stuff, interested. Also is schooling neccessary and does anyone have an opinion about the school called mobiledynamics.

Experience is the best in my opinion. However a natural aptitude for working with your hands is crucial. Attention to detail is important too. Do a search for mobiledynamics and schools in general and you will find many opninions.

schooling is not needed.but it would be worth the time and money .to go to mobledynamics. some installers make over $1000 a week. i have only done that working for my self.

SOme people like it, some feel it's necessary.....

Want to get into this industry?   Apprentice for a couple years at a good shop. Be a hood pin/tach boy for awhile, learn by doing. Get yelled at by an angry old guy that's beeen doing it for 15 or so years.   THEN go to school and get all book smart. You will be so much farther ahead. They don't teach you everything in school, but you will learn the fundamentals (They definately don't teach you how to properly figure out how to take stuff apart in school. that you need to figure out all by yourself)

Gus
PS: What can you make? Apply yourself, don't blow stuff up and get it right the first time and you can easily take home $40K a year
