Ok so i have the new CDA-9855 alpine head unit, new kicker SX1250.1 amp pushing an L7 15" sub. now im gonna upgrade my speakers from this shhhty audiobahn component set. i have a 1991 toyota 4runner, 4" speakers up front with tweets, and 6.5" in the back. I am looking for a 2 way 4" speakers/tweets and i cant seem to find a good set. a stereo shop near me will put Focal 100v2 set in for like 1000 bucks and i told them to screw. anyone got any suggestions? ty

I would say to forget the 4"speaker and get a 61/2 " in a kick panel. as far as brands go, go listen to some brands and pick for your self.

If your bent on a 2 way 4" set the type-X alpine would be a choice, , but definately look into kickpanels if you want it louder and clearer up front.
