Hi, I'm new at this whole stereo installation stuff but am trying to install one on my own. I have a 1987 Saab 900 and am trying to replace the stock radio with a simple cd player. All the wires were labelled so I just spliced them to the corresponding stock wires. When I go to turn the ignition there's no power to the radio. The only thing that works is the power antenna, which goes up as soon as I plug the wires into the radio, so I'm assuming there is power going to the unit. I checked the fuses on the back of the cd player and they were fine. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks.

check the switched fuse in the fuse box, and chec under the hood for a constant fuse.
