Hi, i wanted to know if any of you guys found a factory hole in the firewall of a neon srt 4. I looked and i couldnt find one, i would hate to drill a hole in to the firewall ive heard lots of bad storys about drilling threw holes and hitting plates and wires. Thaks guys

look for boots and fitings that you can run it trough. if it is an automatic there could be a plate where the cluch would be if it has bults on it take it of and drill a hole and but it back on. if there isent enything to run it trough then you are going to have to drill a hole. take a scrudrive or a punch and make a tiny dent in the fire wall and fell for it on the other side and see or feel if there is enything in your way if there is then try someplace else that would work and try the same thing. if that dosent work or you dont want to dril a hole then wight till somebody has a solution. this forum has alought of people that do tis for a job so gust be pasent and you will get what you are looking for.

yes check once twice and once more. before you drill any holes. and always use a grommet. to protect the wire from being cut.

yea I always drill a *reallllly* tiny hole with a supa-small bit.. then thread a paper-clip through and make sure it comes out a good spot.
