hi guys my friend got Eclipse 54400 Hu in a car he just bought. his battary was dead and now when he changed for new one he cannot turn HU on this ESN light blinking do you know how to deal with it how to turn this on sorry for dumb question

You either need the orignial security cd that was used to set up the esn security, or conact Eclipse.

If the cd player is now yours, go to any authorized Eclipse dealer and fill out a ESN Change Of Ownership form. The dealer will contact Eclipse with this updated info and the serial # + lockout # of your 54400. If the unit has not been reported stolen and the sheet is filled out, they will register you as the owner of the unit and supply the authorized dealer with a unlock code to get you up and running.
