I have had a rockford t8002 amp for about 2 months now. And the other day as i go to play my subs. The amp do not cut on. I check the ground, remote and power cord and all is connected properly. Also none of the fuses are blowen becasue i am getting 13.3 volts at the amps fuse. When i cut teh car on and look at the amp. I notice that there is three red glowen dot. inside the amp on its circuit board. These red dots are NOT the power light thermal or protected led. These dots are inside the amp on its circuit board glowen red, everytime i turn the amp on. Can anyone tell me why my amp power is nt cuttingon?

Actually, it does sound like some sort of protect light. The fact that these lights come on tells us you are getting power. Disconnect the speaker leads and see if the lights stay on or not. If they stay on, unplug the RCA's and see if they stay on or not. If the lights go out one time or another, you've identified the source of the problem, and need to do some testing. If the lights remain on, you've more then likely got a bad amp- pull it and bench test it.

By bench test...you mean openning up the amp and testing the circuits?

No, just hook it up outside of the car. You can use a regular car battery.
