Ok i have a question for you folks.
Will inverting subs affect the output or SQ? The sub in question is the new Alpine Type R, i really like the basket on the sub and would like to build a custom box into my spare tire well. I wanted to have the sub loaded inverted to show off the basket, toss in some lights to give it a little extra. I do know that when you invert a sub you need to hook (-) to (+) and (+) to (-) so the subs arn't 180 (degrees, ascii ain't working for me).

Do a search for opinions on this common question.  Here's one done for you:  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/search.asp?KW=invert&SM=1&SI=TC&FM=2&OB=1&Submit=Start+Search

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Do a search for inverting subs.  You'll get plenty of information.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
