I have a bazooka RSA 800-1 and a kicker KX 1200 what would be better ?? I wanted to know because my KX pulls alot more amps than the bazooka I know both amp have tons of power ....I got the KX 1200 because of the sub sonic filter but I am going to start using a sealed box because I need room in my trunk..If bazooka is telling me the truth the RSA is puting out 1200 watts at 1 ohm,And the birth slip on the kicker is 1450 watts but my L5"s are rated at 600 watts each ..............What would you guys do?????????? Did your bazooka come with a sheet tell you the actual rating ? NOPE, Why I ask you ? Becasue it's probally not even close. That being said, You have two L5's 8's 10's ???? Anyway's either way dump the Bazooka! The 1450w that's your kicker is putting out is RMS @ 1 ohm. So if you run that at 2ohm's you're approx 725W rms. which running two l5's you should be more then fine that's assuming that you hav 8"L5's Anyway's you can IM on AIM at twalker454 or Y! trayjunk
unless you buy anyamp that is csa certified then you dont really kno what kind of power that amp is putting out, everyone knows that when a pryamid amp says that it has 2400 watts of power and then a zapco amp says that it has 1200, you kno that you are going to belive the zapco amp over the pryamid.
I would never buy Bazooka. Sounds like a cheap brand like pryamid. Kx1200.1 is a good amp i just got mine off ebay for my 12" inch kicker L7 and that pounds and talked to a kicker tech. guy and said it was a perfect set up for subs to amp. you have L5 even if you had the 15" L5 sub the Kx1200.1 could still push it. so i would go with the Kx1200.1 and an a ect. upgrade.
