I have to replace a cd changer on a mercedez 2000 and still has it's factory radio.What can I use and for how much?For a cd changer.

Unless your looking at an FM mod changer it doesn't work that way. Some of the MBs in that model year used fiber optic changer cables and after market will not interface at all. Need the model to know what to recommend.

i think it was pioneer that i saw that had a good one

it doesnt matter. only a certain brand will fit. he has to go with whatever brand is compatible. and its probably only one. he will not have multiple choices here. as tcss said, the only way around this is to use an FM modulated changer, which most audio enthusiasts arent too crazy about. if he uses an FM modulated changer he will lose any sound quality that is gained by using CDs to begin with.

my suggestion: post your model mercedes and let tcss tell you what changer will fit. he knows what he is talking about
