Hi, I just bought a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. It does not have the XM radio, but it does have Onstar. It has the antenna on the roof which the dealer told me is used for Onstar and XM radio if I had it.

I currently subsribe to Sirius radio, and have yet to put my receiver in the Trailblazer. I am wondering if there is a way to get the satellite antenna that is mounted on the trailblazer to act as the Sirius antenna. I know that Sirius radio works with XM antennas because I have used one of my Sirius when I first purchased it.

No, the OnStar antenna and XM antennas are DIFFERENT. The dealer is wrong. Go look at GM vehicles with both OnStar and XM, there are two antennas on the front of the roof. The OnStar is usuallly on the drivers side and the XM on the passengers side.
