I have a slight whine when I listen to AM radio.  I like to listen to Sports and Sports radio, but It drives me crazy to listen to that whine.  It started when I installed the amp.  I have no problems on FM or CD.  Is there a filter I need or something else I can do?

Thanks,

Corey

Your amplifier ground is not the same as your HU and antenna ground.  This is causing the noise.

By, "not the same" do you mean same location or same quality.  How can I fix this.

Thnaks,

Corey

You can try running another wire from the headunit ground to the amp ground.

What amp are you running? Some class D amps can have a nasty effect on AM as well.
