there was an article somewhere about the quality of RCA cables, yes your cheap radio shack cables might be slightly worse then a name brand, but you will rarely notice the diffrence.

I cant talk much because we purchased a set of stinger expert rca's   $80-$100!!!!! but the ends are a soild metal end, and there is no way to break them off, and I had recently been though a few pairs of others because I just pulled them from the amp and broke them off

Monster is OVERRRR RATTED I have seen anywhere from 5 to 80 for RCA cables. you need to know where your running them, if its right next to a power wire, you definatly want the expensive ones, but if it is in a neutral location, the medium quality ones would probably work just fine. There is a local shop around my house that sells some, i dont know what brand they are, but they are tripple shielded, and my friend ran them down his 0 gauge wire with no interference whatsoever. Im no expert, but just keep in mind location, and how shielded they need to be.

yea i always run the rca's on one side of the car while the power is on the other side.. in my new case they will be about 2ft apart on the same side.. no problems there that i can see.

i personally disagree with monster being overated. but i have also been to monster traning's a few times. to an avrage person there might be a little diffrence but to an audiophile there is a world of differance and the tests that they do will show this. but what do i know?

All well-designed, good quality interconnects sound identical and test identically.  There is no advantage to using very expensive RCA cables, as long as they are well-made and properly shielded.

Just make your own if you can solder. The cable and connectors are fairly inexpensive. Star Quad cable is about $1 per foot and decent plugs can be had for about a $1 each. Parts Express carries everything you need to do it.

If your really wanting one of the best cables with out all the hype check out https://bluejeanscable.com/ stay away from monster unless you work for a place that sells it then you can get a heck of a discount then they are worth it. Blue jeans also have all you home audio wires too.

I made my own from the ends you buy at radio shack and some shielded coax cable (the king you use to make wires for the TV, but a little smaller).  They are ran right next to my 4ga. power wire and there is no interference at all.  I paid about $10 for all the materials.

ive had one set of "expensive" rca's that i got for cheap cause they where used, but they where hangen up next to the new ones and they where 110 for a 14' set can't rember the brand and its to cold out to go look in the bronco lol they are red and silver, but back to the comparison i couldn't hear the differance between the walmart soche (can't spell tonigh) and the expensive ones where ran straight down the middle to the amp and soche's where ran with the power wires

Hello. I used cables from Knu Konceptz and was very happy with them. Just seem like a good product at a great price. Nice and heavy and very bendable but tough. I have used Monster, Street Wires, etc and these are my favorite and the price is right!

Nice guys and fast shipping!

yea i was thinking about Knu Konceptz. Right now my car is torn apart waiting on RCA's, some blue wire to be used for my remote. I have other colors but i like blue being for remote. hmm.. My body in town who owns a car shop has Audiobahn rca's. just waiting for him to get out and about.. even tho its thanksgiving..

the knukonceptz do look very thick and heavy. that meaning durable.
