my head unit on my boat will play at volume 30 (out of 35) for awhile, then the sound cuts out to a low level, turn it down and it will eventually cut back on. checked the speakers for maybe a bad coil or connection somewhere and nothing. it happens really quick the hotter it is outside. could it just be an overheating problem?

my only alternative is to install a cooling fan for it. ive installed plenty of Kenwood and 3 or 4 customers have complained about the same thing. Im not a huge fan of Kenwood, but i just wanted to see if others have similar problems...
