I saw that on the Alpine SWR-1022D that the impedence is 2+2 ohms... does this mean the subs are 4 ohms or they are 2 ohms? thanks

It means that subwoofer is a dual voice coil sub and each coil is rated at 2 ohms.

the subs are dual 2ohm..

If you click on the Wooder Wiring. Two dual 2ohm subs to one amp will have a 2ohm load or a 8ohm load.
