I own and 86 Bmw 325 and i have a Q Logic dual 10in sealed box with a pair of MA Audio competition woofers. It has a Lightning Audio 900watt max, 150 watt per channel rms amp pushing it, though i will be upgrading that soon. Anyway, my question is, what is the best direction to the subs face. Everywhere i have looked telle me differently except they all agree that towards the seat is bad. I have heard from several that up towards the speaker shelf gives good strong bass but i want some solid proof. My trunk has no extra sealing outside of the stock.

Why wouldn't you just experiment with it?

i find facing up works best but my encloser is in the same area as i am. its not in the trunk. My caddi sounds just as good with the subs pointing towards the back in the trunk. listen to dwarren and just try all possible combinations. its as easy as turning the box around.
