How bout some ratings for the boston acoustics G2 sub. I would like to pick some up and install them in my friends VW Beetle. I was given the task of making his audio system and i figure 3 boston acoustics would sound nice on a hifonics amp or maybe a kicker amp not sure yet.
any suggestions.
by the way i got my caddilac's system finished i got 6 10" JL 10w1v2's in there with a JVC HU and some MA audio components. sounds grrreat!

boston acoustics are a great brand i dont know much about them but ive heared there realy good

Want to know some good equipment- JL,Adire Audio,Mcintosh,Brax,Helix,Eclipse,JBL,RE,Dimoand Audio,Zapco, pritty much anything DYhon,Forbidden recommend

Boston Acoustics makes absolutely superlative gear.
Many consider their amps to be on the level of JL's 'Slash' series of amplifiers and thier speakers certainly stand up to the best of JL or MBQuart.
The 'Pro' series componet set stands out as the best sub-$500 componet set I've ever heard, save the CDT HD series.. and the 'NX' series coaxials are flat-out the best sounding coaxials I've ever heard, at any price. In fact, I think the NX coaxials sound better than the VR *componet* set from JL Audio (at 1/2 the price no less) .. an impressive set themselves.
Even with the metal domes, BA speakers sound smoother than an Infinity or a Quart speaker... not bright or etched at all...a problem that plagues so many componet sets these days; but still solid and crisp and detailed.
If you are looking at Boston gear, look really hard eh?
