i got me a  L7 im looking for the best sq not the db , ported or sealed ?

L7 and SQ don't belong in the same sentence. But to actually help you sealed, as a rule thumb, sealed will give you better SQ, ported is more for SPL.

go with the sealed dosent have the low end that a ported box has but it has the sq you want.

That is why they have beat JL audio's w7 in sq.And the best sq car in America has 6 15Inch kicker L7's.

There are always exceptions to the rule. But people are so hasty to call the L7 unmusical. Half the time they haven't even had any real experience. The L7 is a capable woofer perhaps not as mucically inclined as others, but none the less a solid performer.

With that said, a properly tuned and designed ported box can yield good sq as well. That's not to say a sealed box won't, but don't rule out all options w/o soild evidence or proper info.
