How about some more details? Is this an integra its going into or... What kind of stereo are you trying to put in, and did you get a mounting kit and wiring harness? Also are you planning on powering your speakers off the headunit or off an amp? You are going to have 12+ constant, 12+ keyon, a wire for backlight, power antenna/amp output, and speaker outputs and possibly acouple others. If you give more info we can help you.

If the wires behind the radio are not cut, and you still have the factory radio harness intact, go to your local sound shop and buy the adapter harness available for your car.  It will make for a painless install.

If the harness is already cut, look here:

I would also recommend getting an adapter harness, as it will already be labeled and make installation a lot easier. Like I said earlier you might also want a mounting kit. I have a 90 teg and I needed a honda double din kit, but I do not know about the new models.

another thing is that the last owner that had it burn the wires so now it dosent have any power going to it, check all the fuses and their all good, so is there another way i can hook it up?

Did you check the fuses with a meter?  Also did you check for fuses blown under the hood?

If you did both of these, then you can run new power from the ignition harness at the steering column.  Test these wires with a meter to be sure:

White or WHITE/ black should be constant (to yellow on your stereo), and yellow should be switched (to red on your stereo).  You should put an inline fuse on both of these connections.

As suggested above, you will need an installation kit as well unless your new unit is a Double DIN (approximately 4" x 7").
