amp/sub wiring

I think I read too much and I just ended up confusing myself when I was wiring up my sub. Anyways, here's what I got:

AudioBahn Amp A2601X or something like that. I believe it has 2 channels. 2 set's of positive/negative terminals for the sub(s).

AudioBahn Subwoofer 12 DVC AWC12T. The box I have for it isnt all great but Ive got to settle with what I got for now. Anyways the speaker has a total of 8 terminals. On one side it has 2 (+) and right beside it, it has 2 (-). On the opposite side it has the same thing.

Currently, I have one set of the positive/negative terminals from the amp going to one side of the sub, but it still leaves to open terminals. The other set of positive/negative terminals from the amp are going to the opposite side of the sub, again leaving 2 open terminals.

Now the sound isnt all that great.

Maybe someone could help me with a little wiring diagram on how I should wire it?! Im sorry its real late, and I know I should search, but Im too tired. I just wanna get this thing over with.

I gotcha. Thanks. I had a cheap ol JBL sub in the same box, same amp, and it sounded louder than this. But I'll try tuning it as soon as it gets a little warmer.

Also, you know the terminals on the sub? Lets say on one side of the sub you have your positive side a and b, and your negative side a and b. Would it matter which side I used like... From the amp's first terminal the positive side, I connected to the side b of the sub, and then the negative side of the amp's terminal, I connected to the negative a side of the sub... would it make a difference? Lol, sorry if this is confusing

The best wiring configuration for you is going to be to wire 1 channel to each voice coil of the sub; giving you 300W RMS going to the sub. There will be a POSITIVE and NEGATIVE on EACH SIDE of the sub still open.

Huh?  No, you mean 210W X2 @ 2 ohms.  It's interesting and telling that it's 150 watts at 4 ohms and then only 210 at 2-ohms.  An over-rated amplifier lurks here.

Your wiring suggestion is good for a DVC 4-ohm sub with this amp: one VC per channel or both VCs in series for a net 8-ohm load bridged to the amp.  In either case, the power output will be the same.

And by the way, I'll take the cheapest thing made by JBL over the most expensive thing made by Audiobahn every day of the week.

Thats you though. Id take AudioBahn over JBL everyday of the week. But how would you recommend me on wiring these subs?! Ive seen a couple diagrams on AudioBahn's site, but when I tried there methods... Right when I turned the car on, it gave this vibrating type sound. Do you think this could have permnently damged it?

could be your amp hook up. try just using one speaker first one from your house that you know its easy to use 1 pos. 1 neg. and hook it up to your amp. if still vibrating its your amp if it plays go redo your speaker box connections.
