yeah you need to take the screws off the left of the glove box first

-take off the pannels under the steering wheel

-lower center pannel comes off after the sides are off

-remove 2 bolts behind the center pannel facing down

-push deck out from the rear outwards

-the whole center comes out a/c controles and all

-everything unbolts from the rear of the center stereo cluster after you pull it out

-to get the deck out you gotta unscrew all the other things.

-when putting back remember to put the bolts back that support the center dash cluster or itll be easy to steal.

i hope that answered your question

There must be more than one center cluster.  The one i worked on had two screws holding the radio housing in.  They are under the radio, next to the Cig. lighter.  In addition, take off the panel around the gauges.  This panel is over the radio panel.

Do yourself a favor.  Go to Crutchfield and get the master sheets for the 2006 Civic.  It will save you a tremendous amout of time, aggravation, and potential damage to the interior of your car.

Trust me.  I have a 2004 Civic and I never would have figured out how to take the damn thing apart without those master sheets.
