This maybe a stupid question.

I plan to install a satellite radio (siruis). I prefer not to have 2 antennas on the car. Can I remove the FM antenna, and use the satellite radio antenna to receive FM sattions?

not gonna work; bnut if you don't want another antenna on the exterior of the car, you can put the SR antenna on the dash; or on the rear package shelf by your third brakelight. This is of course depending upon the angle of your windshield and the repeater coverage in your area.

you need both antennas one for siruis and one for fm. and if you use the rf to recieve siruis you still need the antenna. any how if the siruis antennas are xm the wont be noticed.
