it was mentioned in an earlier post that an XM antenna can be used in a Serius install.

A. is this true?

B. what are the drawbacks?

(as i see it, XM antennas seem to be smaller.  does this adversly affect reception?)

TIA for your help!  :)

A: Yes this is true

B: May experience more drop outs. (Have not seen any difference in my personal experience though)
XM and Sirius antennas are pretty much the same size, the newer mini antennas anyway.

i'm looking at the roady 2/roady XT antenna.  there's a perfect space for it in the middle of my dashboard.  it sure would be convenient!
