I have a 97' Pontiac Grand AM GT, I would like to install my Sony CD Head unit, but I'm not sure how to take the dash panel out to remove the factory radio. If anyone could help me out, it would be appreciated.

Should be 4 philips screws, 2 in the pocket and 2 above the gauge cluster. Remove these and the dash trim bezel should unclip. Should be 3 7mm hex head screws holding in the radio.
