I think you mean resonant. What do you wnat to optain the resonant frequency of? Your car? A sub? A Box? You'll have to give us more detail.

Invite it over and ask it to live with you...j/k posted_image

Resonant frequency, right? ....Resonant frequency of any object is the frequency at which it resonates at maximum efficiency. What are you trying to obtain resonant frequency with? Speakers? Ports? ...???

Now that I can see my monitor again after spitting coffee all over it after the previous post :)...

...All? All could be anything... enclosures, toothpicks, wine glasses, antennas, Coke bottles, guitars, ports, speakers, cars, kazoos, and almost anything else you can think of. All is too many, you'll have to be specific. I'm pretty sure we can help if you narrow it down, assuming you're friend doesn't want to know how to find the resonant frequency of a toothpick or a kazoo :)

I dunno...I think with a little work, a scope or two and some testing, we could get that kazoo! We just might be a little insane when we're done... posted_image

Hey NyxBass,

Waddya mean "We just might be a little insane when we're done..." I thought  all audio guys are already INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE.  Remember we`re the industry who put a 32 inch sub on the market ! Way cool !

Oh, we weren't the first industry...the big PA systems were using drivers like 32" and 36" and bigger even! The big 32" EV's were common to see in double and even quad boxes...as in 90+ft^3!

But I have to agree we're all all insane ;) I think I meant a little insane from all that kazoo playing.
