Hi , does anyone have any info regarding the speakers and amp setup in a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with the Boston Acoustics system ? Is there any info/diagrams on how this system is setup and, and the specs of the amp/speakers/x-over setup ?
I am considering installing an Kenwood excelon and am curious as to how it should be hooked up to factory speakers. I am pretty sure I have to bypass the factory amp and hook the HU up to the speakers.
I think the doors are 6x9 crossed over inside the amp, to play bass, and the dash are mid/high.. Are the door speakers just single cone bass type speakers, or will they play mid/high if they are hooked up to ?

also seems to be the same system as in the Dodge Magnum, Charger, and Chrysler 300C . if that helps anyone. thanks
