Hi, it's a big difference if at a dB drag contest one car hit 146.4dB and the other car hit 152.37dB, are the second car way louder than the first car or they are a little closer? thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure that is a BIG difference.

To put the difference in perspective, in order for the 146db vehicle to increase output by 6db and hit 152db, it would take 4 times the power used to hit 146db.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Let alone, all DB drag scores are recorded on the dash in "legal" position.       This is one of the hardest spots to measure in a contest.

We were doing a 153.5 outlaw, and a 148.9 in legal position, in a honda Crx.     So yes a quite nice #

were these guys in the same class together?   If so, what class?
