Hi, it's a big difference if at a dB drag contest one car hit 146.4dB and the other car hit 152.37dB, are the second car way louder than the first car or they are a little closer? thanks guys.

To put the difference in perspective, in order for the 146db vehicle to increase output by 6db and hit 152db, it would take 4 times the power used to hit 146db. ------------- Support the12volt.com

Let alone, all DB drag scores are recorded on the dash in "legal" position. This is one of the hardest spots to measure in a contest.
We were doing a 153.5 outlaw, and a 148.9 in legal position, in a honda Crx. So yes a quite nice #
were these guys in the same class together? If so, what class?
