was thinkin maybe some more JL's W1V2's or more bostons but im open to some suggesstions. want to try something new. what do you think?

Altough 900 RMS would be right on their max rating 3 10" W1V2s sound great, I stock the JL power wedge version of this. What kind of internal volume does the box have? Three 8 ohm versions of this would show your amp a nice 2.7 ohm load.

Does anyone have any JLw3s in your area for 400? If you could get those on that Orion amp that would sound pretty good.

Would be hard to get W3s in his price range unless they were used.  JL recommends a .675 cu ft box so you might have put some bricks or some sand in box to reduce the space.

i have that orion amp hooked up to my audiobahns. I got 3 more wholesale Kenwood KAC-9152D for $60 a peice. im gonna build som systems. see whick one i like keep it then sell the others. LOL.

I can't get much around here in the way of car audio. First sub i ever bought was a Kenwood KFC-XW1202DVC. i paid $350 for it. tell me is that worth it? I figured no. but i was young and stupid.

I get most of my equipment through Ebay, SonicElectronx and a freind in Winnipeg Manitoba.

JL W#'s i can prolly get for $175USD a piece plus shipping, and such. but that is a little more than my budget.

Let me see what I can come up with for you. You will need either 3 8 ohm drivers or 3 dual 4 ohm drivers. My recommendation is to go with the dual 4 ohm drivers as just in case you ever want to change, it is a far easier sub to sell to someone.

well...these are far from JL lines but there within your price range, maybe 3 ultimate T2 10" subs ?  rated at  450 watts and 130.00 cdn each

Actually any combionations of voice coil is ok becuase the amp is stable to 1ohm so dual 2 and single 4 is good as well. Dual 6 works too. any sub will work im just thinking along the line of Boston G2 (my friend really liked them), MB Quart (something low end) maybe diamond D3, JL W1. it really up in the air as to what to get. I had W1's in my caddilac and they soud great. that was just a selling feature though I sold that caddy for $13,000 i figure that was a god deal seeing as the car was practicly free.

so after paying bills off i have about $1000 left. 600 for christmas presents. 400 for car audio stuff for me.

If you're looking for something different you could try Xtant. I've heard they are nice subs for a SQ/SPL mix, and they look decent.

3 single 4 ohm alpine type r's - these will give a final load of 1.34 ohms & these subs sell for $120 shipped on ebay. can't get any better than this.

no im not a real fan of the alpines. I have seen them and they are decent but the only alpine i would be interestyed in is the Type X but that would blow my budget.

im guessing the amp is a orion hcaa?sealed box or ported? ill assume sealed with a volume that small. For 3 10's for 400cdn id look at infinity. the 1030w's are very nice for the money. if your budget is 400usd id look at the 1040w's
