Does any one know where to get a pair of battery crimpers? I need the lever action ones that look like a set of bolt cutters not the hammer on kind. The hammer ones are nice but not always the best for certian situations. I have seen smaller versions that handle 6ga. but I am looking for the big dawgs 4/0 would be good any body have any idea? I know snap-on used to make them but there discontinued.

here's a $13 crimper. I have the exact one and it works great. https://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&itemID=1372&keyword=25008

by the way, the way it works is: you put the crimp under the pointed metal edge, just like the picture. Then you take a hammer and hit the top of it, when it's crimped to you satisfaction just pull up on the metel piece and remove crimp.

For those of you that have TRIED that link, it won't get you anywhere... copy and paste it into a browser window.

Anyway, being the detail-oriented guy that I am, I noticed that the people trying to sell this thing are crimping and ALREADY CRIMPED cable... Am I the only person that thinks this is odd?

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Well maybe they just got finished.  Or...  one of the stupid people setting up the picture got bored waiting for the photographer.  He decided to play around and not tell anyone.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
