I am out back running all the wiring for the entire stereo, figure I'd get the wiring straight first and foremost...I got to the point where I am running the power remote wire/wires from the h/u to the amps and I can't decide ( or know)what is the best way...

I read that I won't need a relay to power up three amps from a h/u if they are "normal" size/power amps. (mine are a 35 watt rms x 2 for rear fill, 2 x 100 rms for front components and 1x 300rms for 1 ten inch sub).

So should I run 1 20 gauge power remote wire to the trunk and then split off from that to the three amps with more 20 gauge wire OR run 12 gauge from head unit then split off that with 20 gauge OR run three 20 gauge wires independantly from h/u to trunk...

BEERS ARE ON ME WHEN I GET THIS DONEposted_image

I normally run 1 18 gauge from the head unit to the trunk and then run the main remote wire to one of the amps and then start a daisy chain off that amp to the other amps. Or I run the main wire to the trunk and then split all the connections off that. But like you said before you do not need a relay but you got the right idea.
