Perhaps if you were to list the specs of these speakers people would be more inclined to help.

A price range would be useful too.

If it is so easy, why didn't you do it your self.

Straight from the rules and guidelines...

Be Descriptive and Specific Use a descriptive topic subject and be as specific as possible in your message. Providing more information makes it easier to help you. This will also make searching for similar topics and problems quicker and easier for all members. Try to include year, make and model of vehicle, any relevant model numbers, and the nature of your problem or project in detail.

Yes, yes. Sorry, I failed to read the guidelines. But thats what happens when you get anxious for answers. Haha. Well, coincidently, I just bought an amp for these comps today! Haha, MTX TA3202. Seems I cant get myself out of the MTX line. I got a damn good deal on this amp on ebay. It is supposed to be brand new. But I'm afraid I'll get what I pay for. Oh well, just going to have to be smarter about what I buy. Hope it was a good decision. You cant just throw money around like that.

For a teenager such as myself, I cant imagine how I got myself into the car audio mess. Spend all your paychecks on your sound system until its finished. HA! Wow, so much for having a life, eh? Just a little paranoid, now that I have 2 subs, and 3 amps! Now I'm definitely going to buy that new Avantguard in Jan...

Unfortunately this hobby or profession turns to a nasty addiction, you have only begun in your addiction, there are many more steps a head. Cheers and congrats on the purchase hope it works for you.

Haha. A little spot of contradiction...

Could'nt help it! Talked to Car Toys and asked them about the MTX TA series and they said the 3202 would do really well with the eclipse's. Couple hours later, I found myself on Ebay buying one brand new.

if price wasnt an option and you wanted the best sound i would have went with the premium 4 channel from eclipse to match the components perfectly. but, thats just me.

OR... Price being no option, (and as much as I love the Eclipse amps) the Zapco stuff is hard to beat. SQ is as good as Eclipse, and current capability and damping is better. WAY more expensive, and I don't think it's THAT much better, but you DID say price was no object. If ya got it, spend it.

Can you return that amp? You might consider actually doing that, and using a better amplifier - the MTX stuff is pretty dirty, ESPECIALLY for highs... you have good components, don't they deserve good amplification?

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Yup they deserve a much better amp and way more power to really bring them to life. 50w rms x 2, the speakers are still laughing at you.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
