i have a 2000 s-10 ext cab and i would like to build a box for one 12 inch pyle (PL1290BL). just a square sealed enclosure.

Ok, we need the air space requirements for the sub, then the measurements from the vehicle (the area where the box will go).

thast all i could find on the sub. i tried to use winisd but no luck. and as far as the space i dont care how big the box has to be. just make it square.

Ok, make a box that is 15.5"(width)  x 15.5" (height) x 15.5" (length) with half inch stock. This will net you an internal volume of 1.76 cuft and a damn square box. 

I guesstimated on the volume requirements.

OR

Buy a prefab box and be done with it.

Ummmm....

I think someone just made up those specs you found for that sub.  EBP of 27??  I second the notion of buying a pre-fab box that fits your truck.  To hell with how big or little it is.
