My cousin just recently purchased an 05' gmc canyon, and boy does the factory sound suck a**.  We are planning on swapping out the oem HU for a nice eclipse model, and swapping out all the factory speakers for bostons, or mb quart. My question is, does anyone have any idea as to how we could put a subwoofer in this thing? It is the crewcab model, and has virtually no space under or behind the rear seat. The only thing out there I have seen is an mtx enclosure that attaches to the rear of the console. I really didn't want to use it because it is mtx.....and the power handling is only 200 watts.  We were thinking of using a setup that would handle at least 500wrms. Besides ripping out the rear seat, ; ) what can I do?

You would actually be quite surprised by the response of the MTX Thunderform enclosures. I know I was when I heard my first one. I know I can now safely recommend them to anyone.

Thanks for the heads up! I think we might try one of the mtx thunderforms and see how it sounds...
