I just got a great deal on two 12"  four ohm dual voice coil Alpine Type-R subs and i need some help trying to figure out the best way to wire them.  I am thinking of buying a MTX 6500D amp and am wondering how i would wired them to have a four ohm bridged load.

Please tell me if you think this would be a good combination for my subs or any other amp sugjestions.

thanks

S1C1=Sub1 Coil 1, S1C2=Sub1 Coil2, S2C1=Sub2 Coil1, S2C2=Sub2 Coil2.  Each will have a + and - associated with it....

Wire the following together:

Amp+, S1C1+, S2C1+

Amp-, S1C2-, S2C2-

S1C1-, S1C2+

S2C1-, S2C2+

Look here for a diagram: https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard/index.asp?WoofQty=2+woofers&WoofImp=Dual+Voice+Coil+-+4+ohms+x+2&image.x=22&image.y=13

For a 4 ohm load you would want Wiring Option #2
