has anybody heard clarion sub do they hit hard and sound really good. I am going to buy into c;arion but havent heard much. im looking at srw1245 12" dual 4 ohm subs and apa 2160 2\1 chaneel amp but they rate at 80/ 2ch will this be enough. and this apa 2001 says its 400 max push 2 srw1245 single12".

Uhh. Hmm.
It seems to me Clarion is known for really nice head units and decent, if somewhat unremarkable speakers.
I've never installed any Clarion speakers but the half-dozen HU's or so I've done have all been real winners. When I get around to dumping this crappy Alpine I've been using for years, Clarion is on the short list ...
I betcha the sub would sound pretty good eh?
