I bought a Rockford Fosgate RAV-DVD1 from Rockford in August.  It worked decent until the other day.  All of the sudden the output sounded "wavey" for lack of a better term, and the volume is very low.  I am running 2 amps and the output from all speakers is affected.  I was on a road trip and the CD's that I took out of the HU were pretty damn hot prior to my problem.

Could it be anything besides my HU?

Does anyone know of a way I can get it fixed?

Rockford wants $350 flat fee to fix it, you can get a new one for less than that.

You bought it in August and it's out of warranty already?  Sounds like it's time for a new HU.

Sounds like it is time for a new manufacturer.

Sounds like it was bought online.
