Today i talked to progressive auto insurance (sorry for bad spelling and grammer errors) I got a quote for car insurance and it is 265 dallars to cover my 89 honda prelude.I have to pay a 500 deductible for stereo then they cover the rest (if it would get stolen). Does that seem a little high? I was wondering what do you guys pay for yours and what kind of car it is insured on.

Thanks

You choose your deductible when you setup your insurance.

I pay $1000 a year for full coverage on a 87 Bronco with a $250 deductible. Thats with progressive. When my Bronco's motor caught fire they started to give me a hard time about fixing it vs. totaling it. They wanted to junk it. I said "F" you. I want it fixed. We went around a few times then they paid me, and I fixed it myself.

Check with State Farm. I've used them for years with NO problems and every now and then I'll look around, but so far I can't beat their price.

I pay $1200 every 6 months for my '04 G35.  :(

Three speeding tickets in 12 months is NOT a good thing for insurance premiums.

I hate a 97 eclipse gs-t that ran me about $360/month before I sold it.

Wrecked it twice, never told state farm about a single ticket... they paid, they paid, they paid sum more..

Best insurance in america...

I did however, get dropped when my policy came up for renewal =/

I went to state farm. and it is cheaper then progressive by 40 dallars. But if you have vechile safty and went through a driving course. And have a 3.0 or higher. And did one of training things. saves you a 110 dallars.     Conclusion i'm going with state farm.
