Hmm, I searching all over, and all I can find is HO alternators for just Chevy!

I got a Mazda, I need a HO alt! Anyone know where I can get one?

www.mralternator.com they have one for an 87-92 ranger (same as the b-series) but its only for the 2.9 liter engine (theres a picture maybe take a look.  I got mine from them for my 99 expedition, went with a 200 amp and it has been working fine.  I would definitely recommend them, hope you find what you are looking for.

Ohio Generators and Dominick Iraggi are 2 very reliable places for HO alternators.

The mazda B2200 will take a small block chevy alternator with no mods to the alternator, and a change in the pully and belt.    I would go that route, it is much cheaper to get a HO alt ina large case GM then a small case style alternator

if jeff is correct which im sure he is.. but i don't know as much as him.. i recommend checking this site out.. www.alternatorparts.com... call this guy and get and HO alt from him... iraggi alts r cheaper but his service in my opinion is very bad!!!! but you could also get on from ohio gen, stinger, or www.hoalternator.com .. but they happen to be very expensive

well if jeff is right.. which im sure he is.. i would go with the chevy alt as you can get a high amp one for cheaper.. i recommend this guy at www.alternatorparts.com i would call him.. he was very helpful for me... you could buy an iraggi alt from dominic off of ebay but his customer service and speed of delievry is horrible... it took me a month to get an alt from him then it was the wrong one.. and im still waiting for my money back...
