im so confused and i hope someone can help me....i have a 1998 lincoln navigator, and have recintly installed an alpine CDE9843.  i installed it and all the wires are connected properly and i have no sound from any speakes....any ideas?

you may have a mute wire to hook up

obviously something is not hooked up right. double and triple check the wiring and if you still cant find anything wrong have someone who knows car audio take a look at it.

Try turning up the volume control usually helps. posted_image jk. If you don't get any thing your HU could be have blown speaker outputs. Do your speakers all work. If you have a blown one that could do it.
