so im buying this subwoofer and am debating exactly where I should construct the enclosure.

If it turns out that there is enough room, I will be building an under-seat enclosure, however if there isnt, my two choices are in the center console beneath the armrest, or in the back corner of the trunk. If I make the console enclosure, would i be best routing the port towards the passenger/driver side or out the back towards the back seat??

thanks,
Parker

for the most part a port would be on the same plain as the sub . but for SQ i would build a sealed enclosure. in or under the center console.

Since it is such a small woofer I would definitely port it. Try to mount the port to the same side as the woofer is mounted to. It should still sound ok if you have to put the port on a different side though.

If your trying to save a buck, thats the one to go with.....if not, check this. Free air resonance 36cycles.

A 6.5 can only play so low, and so loud. Most not true sub bass. more like mid bass. The DD is cool.
