i have a 1994 ford escort and when i do a search for the radio wiring diagram the colors do not match up at all. is there any other possible diagrams because it says on the diagram for 1994-1996 ford escorts but as i said the colors do not match up

If your factory radio plug is still there, just go to a local stereo shop and get a harness for your car- then you can match up the wire colors for your aftermarket stereo to the new harness and plug it in your car.

If the plug is missing, you'll have to hardwire- check if these colors are more accurate: https://www.installdr.com/QuickWiring.html. Test all wires with a meter first.
