Ported woofers in a mercedes?

I was looking in a new mercedes convertible and it had two holes running between the back passenger seats almost like a double barrelled shotgun. I believe they had to be speaker ports. What I deducted is they have enclosed woofers under the seats which is way cool.

Has anyone ever seen woofers mounted under the rear seats and the sound coming out of ports?

Sure. It's called a bandpass enclosure.
