I have a factory 6 cd changer built into the radio in a 2004 dodge durango. I ejected a cd and it seemed like radio didn't show that the cd was ejected and still showed a cd in slot 5. I then ejected all the other cd's thinking this would help. I then couldn't insert any cd's as it seemed like it was jammed. The radio seems to be searching for cd's because I can here the cd mechanism turning inside the radio. I then pulled the fuse for the radio hoping this would help solve my problem. When I put the fuse back in I still here the cd player searching for the cd's but I can't even get the radio to switch to cd mode now.
Any advice. I am hoping to have to go to the dealer to get it fixed..
Then do so, by all means- it should be covered under your warranty. Otherwise just upgrade.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
Sorry about the confussion. That was supposed to read :

What advice are you looking for? Either you have the skills to repair electronic equipment or you don't. If you did you wouldn't be asking about it on a forum...so you don't. Take it to someone who does, which in this case is the car dealer's/manufacturer's concern. Don't void a warranty by poking into it.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
