I have just installed 2 Alpine SWR-1042D in a ported box and i have a Rockford Fosgate T10001bd.  I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to tune the amp so i will get the best performance.  Oh yea the amp is going to be wired at 1ohm.  Thanks

Do a search in here on gain setting and you will find plenty of information.  Make sure your amp is stable to 1 ohm.

At one ohm that amplifier can draw 150 amps, so you will need to upgrade your alternator.  Carefully set your gain using proper test tones (perform the search mentioned above) and adjust your LP filter to the same value as the HP filter you use on your mains (or if you do not use a HP filter, try 80-100Hz on the LP.)  Keep any bass boost off.
